Course Objective SAP Evaluators are trained to do field evaluations of buildings and other infrastructure for safety. These professionals quickly evaluate damaged structures, identifying those that are safe for occupancy to which people can return, while marking those that are unsafe or have restricted use.
Course Description Caltrans Office of Emergency Management and Infrastructure Protection (OEMIP) is offering a Safety Assessment Program (SAP) Evaluator Training to the Department of General Services for Licensed Professional Engineers (Civil, Structural & Geotechnical), Architects and Geologists.
