Course Objective This course provides a basic understanding of all three systems: commonalities and differences, language and protocols, and how they are integrated during an emergency response.
Course Description To be compliant with state and federal requirements, all federal, state, local, tribal government, private sector and nongovernmental personnel with a role in emergency management and response must take a minimum of 8 hours of training in SEMS (California’s Standardized Emergency Management System/NIMS (National Incident Management System) and ICS (Incident Command System).
