Course Objective The Intermediate Certificate Program provides hands-on I.T.-related exercises, to continue the progression of knowledge and skills introduced in the Basic Acquisition Certification Program and Basic Workshops.
Course Description PREREQUISITES: Completion of Basic Acquisition Certificate Program, Statement of Work workshop, and one other California Procurement & Contracting Academy (Cal-PCA) workshop of choice (exception: Environmentally Preferable Purchasing workshop does not qualify).
Only students who meet the prerequisites PRIOR TO the first day of class will be admitted.
WALK-INS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THIS COURSE. ONLY REGISTERED STUDENTS WILL BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND THIS COURSE.
The focus of this Intermediate series is the information technology acquisition using an Invitation For BId (IFB) & a Request For Offer(RFO).

Student "No-Show" Policy In the event a student fails to attend any class in which he/she has enrolled without either cancelling enrollment at least 3 business day(s) prior to the beginning of class, his/her agency will incur a $100.00 "No-Show" Charge.
